"Pupils behave really well in class, around school and at playtimes. Positive and caring relationships have created an environment where pupils are kept safe and feel safe. Leaders, staff and pupils work hard to make sure that pupils are ready for life"

Young Voices

26 Feb

26 of our Year 5 and 6 travelled to the Resort World Arena to be part of The Young Voices Children’s Choir. Six thousand young people raised the roof singing along to songs from Hairspray, Zootopia and other songs by artists like David Bowie and They Might Be Giants, accompanied by some amazing guest artists: Tommy Blaize (Strictly Come Dancing’s lead singer), MC Grammar (an award winning teacher, rapper and global YouTube sensation) and Souparnika Nair (a fourteen-year-old singing sensation whose vocal talent shone through as a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent at the age of only ten).

Parents and children alike had an amazing time and the children did us proud! Well done everyone! A big thank you to Mr Millington, Miss Clark and Miss Butlin and for giving up their own time to take our children to this incredible event and to all the parents for their support.
