"Pupils behave really well in class, around school and at playtimes. Positive and caring relationships have created an environment where pupils are kept safe and feel safe. Leaders, staff and pupils work hard to make sure that pupils are ready for life"

Year 1 Black Country Museum Visit

2 Apr

To support their history topic about Houses and Homes, Year 1 really enjoyed being ‘Time Travellers’ for the day at the Black Country Living Museum. They got to experience what life was like in the past. Our Year 1s investigated a range of different houses and homes and discovered the lifestyles of the people who lived there. They learnt about the different features of buildings and different household objects from the past and compared them to life today. Our Year 1s took part in an old-fashioned school lesson and even visited an old-style cinema! They had lots of fun and the children were impeccably behaved. Well done Year 1!
