"Pupils behave really well in class, around school and at playtimes. Positive and caring relationships have created an environment where pupils are kept safe and feel safe. Leaders, staff and pupils work hard to make sure that pupils are ready for life"

Reception Teddy Bear Hospital

Our EYFS children had a visit from the ‘Teddy Bear Hospital’, a volunteering society from University of Birmingham Medical School. The children got to learn lots of new things about how to stay healthy and were all very engaged in the fun activities that were on offer. This included learning the importance of brushing your teeth twice a day and eating healthily, with the opportunity to plan a healthy meal. They also had the chance to explore different medical equipment such as stethoscopes which they used to listen to their heartbeat.
