"Pupils behave really well in class, around school and at playtimes. Positive and caring relationships have created an environment where pupils are kept safe and feel safe. Leaders, staff and pupils work hard to make sure that pupils are ready for life"

Year 3 Round Up Summer2 Week2

What a scorcher! Thank you for sending children in with sun-cream and hats this week! Please make sure that the they have a water bottle in school every day as well.

Thank you to all who were able to attend the class assemblies last week and this week. It was a privilege to celebrate the children's learning with you all. We had some nervous children initially but we were so proud to watch their confidence grow during rehearsals. We are sure you all agree they did brilliantly!

We began reading Danger At Dead Man's Pass last week (written by MG Leonard and Sam Sedgman). The children have really developed their inference and language skills over the year, and have reached expert level in discussing the way authors build tension and drama! Chapter 3 introduced many of us to the joys of the Eurotunnel. We all thought it sounded very elegant and luxurious - the mysterious Baron did buy our main characters Business Premier tickets though!
