Dough Disco

6 Oct

This week at school the children have really enjoyed doing 'Dough Disco'.

Dough disco involves moulding play dough in time to music and performing different actions such as rolling it into a ball, flattening it, putting each individual finger into the dough, rolling it into a sausage and squeezing it. It helps to strengthen the muscles in our fingers and hands in preparation for writing.

We have added some pictures of the moves that we have been learning at school so that you can practise at home too. (There is also a recipe for home-made playdough).

Just pop on your favourite song and get squeezing!

We hope you enjoy it!
